The CLR 111™ can be connected to your PC via USB (2.0) port, and there is no additional cabling is required! No PCI cards, power adaptors. Even power is supplied via USB.
The compact CLR 111™ is a very cost efficient, till high quality, robust, durable device, designed for rough usage, 24hour/day, 7days/week operation.
CLR 111™ is fully integratable to host computer systems. There is a spohisticated, yet easy to understand and easy to use Software Development Kit that helps native integration. The Application Programming Interface (API) includes all image capturing functionalities as well as all optical character recognition and document verification and authentication functionalities.
The CLR 111™ is primarly designed to be used as an OCR passport reader for visa passports and id cards, a higly features desktop OCR travel document reader. However it can not only be used as a passport scanner or travel document OCR reader, but it can also be used as a multifunctional ID card reader.
The CLR 111 - as all other members of the CLR family - can be set up to read RFID documents.
